Sources and limits

Mining: the counts above describe collected reports and source-reported work. Address reports do not establish unique physical machines or verified receipts. Public resource sharing requires its own accepted permission and disclosure safeguards.

Chain switches
Which coins are public, and which stay staff-only. Changing a switch changes what every visitor can see.
Work down the list: a coin must be minable before the explorer shows it, and shown before the public site names it. Turning a switch off is instant, but pages and search results that already named the coin may keep it for a while.
Block approvers
Block verification
A block the pool reports stays held until you check it against the chain and declare it. Until then nothing about it is public, and miners on that lane see only that it is being checked.
To declare or retract a block: send yourself a code, enter it under the block, then type the block's height to confirm. A code works once and expires after 15 minutes.
