A future pilot could evaluate Bitcoin proof-of-work hardware, secure gateway controls, and real-time load management — feasibility sizes each for the site.
Prepare
Verified onboarding can capture an intended pilot configuration. The fee is already published — 97% miner, 3% platform, in the coinbase. Wallet routing, payout records, ESG reports and performance telemetry are separately operated services and will be published only once they are live and verified.

Understand surplus-energy windows and constraints — measurement decides what a site can carry.
Compute suitability
Map hardware classes against a site’s constraints. The pool accepts standard mining hardware; Melanin does not operate or manage a fleet on your behalf.
Grid constraints
Document peak-price and grid-stress constraints for pilot design. Automated load control is not operating.
Sustainability inputs
Identify the inputs a future pilot would need for renewable attribution and efficiency reporting. No Melanin ESG report is currently produced.
Non-Custodial Design
The design avoids holding private keys or funds: 97% to the miner and 3% to the platform are written into the block’s own coinbase. No wallet-routing, payout, or on-chain accounting service is live.
