Bitcoin onboarding is verified and operator-configured.
Approved alpha users and applicants can request access now. We keep public pages clear about what is live, what is alpha, and what remains on the roadmap.

What is mining?
Bitcoin mining uses computers to perform proof-of-work that helps secure the Bitcoin network. This is general education, not an offer of an active Melanin mining service.
What device do I need?
Phone or tablet: a future Click integration is under evaluation.
PC with GPU: device compatibility is being planned, not activated.
ASIC miner: dedicated hardware that may be considered when a compatible service is live.
Is it safe?
Protect your own wallet keys and verify any future configuration before use. Melanin's intended model is non-custodial, but no live payout or wallet service is offered on this page.
How do I start?
Request verified onboarding → share your device and goals → receive configuration availability only when a compatible service is enabled.

Common Issues
Cannot sign in?
Confirm the email address and authorization code used for verified onboarding. Contact support if the issue continues.
Waiting for a connection?
No public miner gateway is active. Connection details are shared only after an operator enables a matching service.
Choosing hardware?
Use this page for feasibility guidance; do not apply production mining settings or performance expectations before a service is enabled.
Where are rewards or fees?
There are no live payout records, earnings reports, or fee terms. Those require a separately operated gateway and reconciler.

Use rated PSUs, no daisy-chaining, grounded outlets.
Thermal
Proper ventilation, don't enclose devices, monitor temps.
Emergency
Stop immediately if hot to touch, smells, or unstable.
